The Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (CfAA) at Fudan University invites applications for the Fudan-CfAA postdoctoral fellowship to commence in the fall 2025, with negotiable start dates. These positions will involve collaborations with faculty members in the center: Cosimo Bambi, Suoqing Ji, Antonino Marciano, Yidun Wan, and Feng Yuan (https://astro.fudan.edu.cn/astro_en/Faculty/list.htm) on research topics including high-energy astrophysics, galaxy formation and evolution, and cosmology.

Both observational and theoretical/computational astrophysics candidates are welcomed to apply. The successful candiates may also be recommended to apply for Fudan Super Postdoctoral Fellowships, Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Fellowships, and China National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talent. The center has access to excellent computing facilities and plentiful observational facilities (FAST, LAMOST, Insight-HXMT, EP, etc.). The salary is competitive in international standard.

Applicants must have obtained a PhD in astronomy or physics not more than 5 years prior to the start date. The initial appointment is for a period of two years, with the possibility of extension to up to three years based on performance.
